Project Ascend - Test Level v0.3
A downloadable game for Windows
This is the 3rd test level for my game project.
I've worked specifically on a new ability known as Growth, which allows you to rejuvenate withered plants and encourage certain mushrooms to grow tall. You're now able to switch between this ability and Truth at any time. I've also overhauled the menu designs and made it easier to see the controls and how they are mapped onto the controller. There is also some progressive audio as you achieve certain criteria, and some other small bug fixes have been made as a final addition.

Great to see another demo and it's such a bigger world but I must admit I gave up before I saw it all. The gameplay feels very slow and anything you get wrong is very punishing. For example the first room to the left is huge and if you mess up once you have to go all the way back, waiting for each platform to slowly move.
Could you look into making the gameplay quicker and less punishing? I think it'd feel great then.

Thanks for the feedback, I will take that on board and make sure that the next one is more engaging and less punishing to play.
